About Yui Hamamoto
- Yui Hamamoto (????, Hamamoto Yui, born July 28, 1998 in Osaka) is a Japanese-born Austrian table tennis player of mixed Japanese-Chinese descent.At the age of 18, she made the Japanese national team which won a silver medal at the 2016 World Team Table Tennis Championships.
- She also won gold at the women's doubles at the 2016 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals with Hina Hayata. In 2019, she announced her decision to switch her nationality to Austria due to stiffer competition in Japan for Olympic spots.
