About Gaute Johannessen
- Gaute Johannessen (born 19 August 1967) is a retired Norwegian football midfielder. He came through the youth ranks of FK Vidar and represented Norway as a youth international.
- He played for Viking FK from 1990 through 1992, winning the 1991 Eliteserien.
- In 1993 he joined Bryne FK, and finished his playing career in Vidar.
- He also became manager of Vidar, albeit after a five-season manager spell in Buøy.
