Mercy Tagoe (born 5 February 1974) is a Ghanaian football coach and former player who played as a defender for the Ghana women's national football team.
She was part of the team at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup in the United States.
On club level she played for Bluna Ladies in Ghana.In February 2018, she led the Black Queens to win the maiden edition to the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire as an interim coach.
Prior to picking up a coaching role Mercy Tagoe was a referee in the Ghana Premier League.
She made history as the first Ghanaian female referee to officiate at the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2007 held in China.
