About Deniss Petrovs
- Deniss Petrovs (born 31 August 1986 in Daugavpils) is a Latvian volleyball player.
- He has been a member of the Latvia men's national volleyball team since 2008.
- Petrovs started his career in hometown club VK Ezerzeme/DU and continued it in another Latvian club VK "Riga/Lase-R".
- After that he spent two years in the Estonian team VK Selver Tallinn.
- After that Petrovs has spent one season in Belarus playing for VC Stroitel Minsk in the Russian Volleyball Super League.
- Next two consecutive seasons Deniss played for Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 in French League Pro A.
- In season 2014/2015 Deniss played for VC Stroitel again, and won the Championship of Belarus as well as the Belarusian Cup, reached the 1/2 final of 2015 CEV Challenge Cup and got the Best Setter award. In 2016 Deniss played for VC "Nizhny Novgorod" in Russian Super League, but in the middle of season moved VC Dynamo-LO.
- Deniss helped new team to win 1st place in Russian League A.
- Since the 2016-2017 season Petrovs continues to play for VC Dynamo-LO but already in the Russian Super League.
