  • Sunley was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace.
  • He was born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Sunley made his debut for Lincolnshire in the 1966 Minor Counties Championship against Shropshire.
  • Sunley played Minor counties cricket for Lincolnshire from 1966 to 1984, which included 42 Minor Counties Championship matches.
  • He made his List A debut against Hampshire in the 1966 Gillette Cup.
