Sarah Virginia Brinton, Baroness Brinton (born 1 April 1955), known as Sal Brinton, is the President of the UK Liberal Democrats.
In November 2010 she was nominated to the House of Lords, taking her place on 10 February 2011 as Baroness Brinton, of Kenardington in the county of Kent.
After Jo Swinson lost her seat at the 2019 United Kingdom general election, Brinton and Sir Ed Davey became acting co-Leaders of the Liberal Democrats.
