Siniša Mali (Serbian Cyrillic: ?????? ????, pronounced [sini?a mâ?li?]; born 25 August 1972) is a Serbian economist and politician.
He serves as the Minister of Finance in the Government of Serbia since 29 May 2018.
He previously served as the mayor of Belgrade from 2014 to 2018, and as the President of the Temporary Council of Belgrade from 2013 to 2014.After the discovery of plagiarism in his doctoral dissertation, that was one of the triggers for the anti-government protests leading to the 12-day students' blockade of the university's main building and the decision of the University of Belgrade to revoke his doctorate.
