  • Carnell Professor of Chemistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  • He is most notable for his development of sulfur-nitrogen reagents including N-sulfonyloxaziridine for oxidations and asymmetric hydroxylations and N-sulfinyl imines for the asymmetric synthesis of chiral amine derivatives.
