About Mahesh Acharya
- Mahesh Acharya, was the minister of Forest and Soil Conservation of Nepal under the government led by Sushil Koirala.
- Acharya won the Morang–6 seat in Nepalese Constituent Assembly election, 2013 from the Nepali Congress.
- Acharya is the member of the 2nd Nepalese Constituent Assembly, he is a central member of Nepali congress, Acharya plunged into politics since panchayat era from NC, by taking part in the anti-panchayat movement with leaders including Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala , Girija Prasad Koirala.
