Bidhu Bhusan Das (also spelled Bidhubhusan Das, 11 April 1922 – 2 June 1999) was a revered and legendary professor, public intellectual and senior government official from the Indian state of Odisha.
Das received an A.M.
from Columbia University and an M.Litt.
from Christ Church College, Oxford University.
He also studied at Harvard University.
Earlier, he earned an M.A.
in English from Patna University.
He was made a Fellow of the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank, (now called the World Bank Institute), in 1971.
