- Harmon (October 14, 1916 – August 26, 2016) was an American bicycle enthusiast who was described as "The Grande Dame of American Bicycling".In 1928, at age 12, Harmon purchased her first bicycle, a $28.00 red, single-speed Ernie McKay Special from Ernie McKay's Chicago bike shop.
- She was one of two girls in her neighborhood with a bicycle and the only one who was allowed to ride her bicycle out of the neighborhood.
