About Nicholas Henshall
- Nicholas James Henshall (born 6 April 1962) has been Dean of Chelmsford since 2014.The son of Michael Henshall, long-serving Bishop of Warrington, Nicholas Henshall was born in Mossley, educated at Manchester Grammar School, Wadham College, Oxford and Ripon College Cuddesdon; and ordained in 1989.
- After a curacy at, St Mary, Blyth he was Vicar of St Margaret, Scotswood from 1992 to 2002 when he became Canon Precentor of Derby Cathedral.
- He was Vicar of Christ Church, Harrogate from 2008 to 2014; and acting Archdeacon of Richmond during his final year there.
- He was instituted at Chelmsford Cathedral on 2 February 2014.
