Habib Davanloo (born October 10, 1927) is an Iranian psychoanalyst and psychiatric researcher and working in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, who developed Intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy(ISTDP).
He was Professor of Psychiatry (now Emeritus) at McGill University and founding editor of the International Journal of Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy.
