  • Gaël Dimitri Clichy (French pronunciation: ?[ga.?l kli.?i] ; born 26 July 1985) is a French professional footballer who currently plays for Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir in the Süper Lig.
  • He has also played for the France national team.
  • Clichy is predominantly left footed but naturally right footed, he primarily plays as a left back that is also capable of playing as an offensive-minded wing-back.
