- Ameet Bhaskar Satam is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

- He has initiated the conservation project of the heritage Gilbert hill and also initiated Juhu Beach Beautification.

- He has raised several issues like building Scam in BMC, utility corridor, desalination plant for Mumbai, climate change, Mumbai tourism, hawkers mafia in the legislative assembly of Maharashtra.
- He has been recognised as a leader of Asia, Pacific & United States by the East-west centre at Honolulu and also awarded 'Ideal youth MLA' award by MIT school of government, Pune. Ameet Satam is considered as a highly accessible & approachable MLA by the citizens of Andheri-West at large. MLA Ameet Satam is the first elected representative to conceptualise the idea of MUMBAI SELFIE POINT which is erected at Juhu V.M road near opp Sohum Spa near Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow & was made open to all on 7 May.
