  • She is the second female mayor of Las Vegas, after Jan Laverty Jones, and the wife of former mayor and attorney Oscar Goodman.Due to the changes to the law regarding all elections here statewide by the Nevada Legislature and Governor Steve Sisolak (a Democrat), Goodman is not eligible to run for re-election in 2024 due to term limits effectively extending the mayoral term to 5 years.
