- Gregory Louis Fenves is a structural engineer, professor and college administrator who has served as the twenty-ninth president of the University of Texas at Austin since June 3, 2015.
- For his research and teaching, Fenves was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2014, the highest recognition for an engineer in the United States.
