Tilian Pearson (born July 12, 1987), also known mononymously as Tilian, is an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Clearwater, Florida.
He is the clean vocalist in American rock band Dance Gavin Dance. He began his musical career in 2007 forming the American rock band Tides of Man.
He released one extended play (EP) and two studio albums with the band on Rise Records before departing in 2010.
The following year, he recorded material with American rock bands Emarosa and Saosin following the departure of their respective lead singers.
In August 2012, Pearson became the clean vocalist for post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance and with the group has since released four studio albums; Acceptance Speech (2013), Instant Gratification (2015), Mothership (2016), and Artificial Selection (2018), three stand-alone singles, and one live album; Tree City Sessions (2016). Pearson also pursues a solo music career having released three studio albums; Material Me (2013), Perfect Enemy (2015), and The Skeptic (2018), and two EPs; Future Friends (2014) and Patient (2017).
He has collaborated with various other musical groups including Our Last Night, I the Mighty, and Stolas.
