Richard "Rick" Charles Mitchell (born 24 March 1955, in Sydney) is an Australian triple Olympian who competed in the 400 metres and 4 × 400 metres relay.
Mitchell won a silver medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics, and also won one gold, two silver, and one bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games in 1978 and 1982.
