Garrett Patrick Stubbs (born May 26, 1993) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). He attended the University of Southern California (USC), and played college baseball for the USC Trojans, winning the 2015 Johnny Bench Award as the nation's best collegiate catcher.
The Astros selected Stubbs in the eighth round of the 2015 MLB Draft. In 2016, Stubbs was a California League Mid-Season All Star, and an milb.com Houston Organization All Star.
In 2017, he was a mid-season Texas League All Star, and named the best defensive catcher in the league by Baseball America.
In 2018, he was a mid-season Pacific Coast League All Star.
