Four years later she went to Atlanta for the 1996 Summer Olympics, she entered the 400 metres hurdle and this time finished 6th in her heat but again failed to qualify, then she went to the 2000 Summer Olympics and in the 400 metres hurdles and this time she finished 5th in her heat.
Mahuk reached the final and finished 7th in the 400 metres hurdles at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
