- Jack de Gier (born August 6, 1968 in Schijndel, Noord-Brabant) is a Dutch football manager and current manager of Go Ahead Eagles.He was nicknamed Il Butre (The Vulture), after legendary Spain striker Emilio Butragueño.
- ("De Gier" is Dutch for "The Vulture".) De Gier made his professional debut in the 1988/89 season for BVV Den Bosch.
- He scored the very last goal in Ajax Amsterdam's old stadium "De Meer" (for Willem II Tilburg, April 28, 1996).
