- He is a member of the Democratic Labor Party (PDT). Born in Fortaleza, André Figueiredo graduated in Economy (1987) and Law (1995) by the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), and postgraduated in Foreign Trade by the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR).
