- David Douglas "Des" van Rooyen (born 20 November 1968) is the former Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and Minister of Finance of the Republic of South Africa.
- He took office on 13 December 2015 and was dropped from cabinet on 27 February 2018 by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
