- Christopher "Chris" Deering (born January 15, 1945) is an American businessman and marketer best known for his role as president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
- He is credited as one of the main marketers of the successful PlayStation and PlayStation 2 video game consoles earning him the title of "The Father of the PlayStation".
- The PS1 was the first video game console to ship a 100 million units and the PS2 remains the most sold console of all time selling around 155 million units.
