- She is one of the few musicians and presently the only All India Radio-graded female exponents of the Indian musical instrument called Jaltarang (Kannada: ??????, Hindi: ??????).
- She is also an All India Radio-graded vocalist in the Gamaka genre of Hindustani Light Music.
