- Guðmundur Steinsson (born (1960 -07-18)18 July 1960) is an Icelandic former footballer.
- He was part of the Iceland national football team between 1980 and 1988.
- He played 19 matches, scoring 8 goals.
- On club level he played for Knattspyrnufélagið Fram he played at the 1981–82 European Cup Winners' Cup and was the topscorer of the 1984 Úrvalsdeild with 10 goals.
- With Víkingur he became topscorer of the 1991 Úrvalsdeild with 13 goals.
- He played for Víkingur also at the 1992–93 UEFA Champions League and scored in the match against CSKA Moscow.
