About Arvind Kumar Sinha
- Arvind Kumar Sinha (born 28 May 1954) is a FIDE master and a reputed International rated chess player.
- He is considered to be one of Bihar's best chess players of all time. Arvind Kumar Sinha became Bihar's first and only FIDE master in 2008.
- He achieved 7th position in Commonwealth Chess Championship held at London in 1986.
- He has been Bihar Champion in 1981, 1983 and 1983.During his career as an employee in Reserve Bank of India, he represented R.B.I Patna every time and has been champion in Rapid and Blitz tournaments in Inter RBI competitions throughout his career until he retired from RBI in 2013. He was Secretary Bihar State Chess Association in 1980-81-82 and again serving as Secretary All Bihar Chess Association since 2008.
