About Paul Brereton
- Major General Paul le Gay Brereton, (born 27 August 1957) is a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a senior officer in the Australian Army Reserve.
- He commanded the 5th Brigade from 2008 to 2010 and Head of the Cadet, Reserve and Employer Support Division from 2010 to 2014.
- He is currently leading an Inspector-General of the Australian Defence Force investigation into criminal misconduct on the battlefield by Australian Special forces in Afghanistan.
