  • George Ernest Foulkes (December 25, 1878 – December 13, 1960) was a United States Representative from Michigan. Foulkes was born in Chicago, Illinois and attended the public schools of Chicago.
  • He graduated from the law department of Lake Forest University, Chicago, in 1900.

  • He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1934 to the 74th Congress.In 1935, Foulkes was convicted of receiving illegal political contributions from postmasters and sentenced to eighteen months in prison and to pay $1,000 fine.He resumed agricultural pursuits and engaged as an author and in farm-organization work.
