- Pétur Karl Guðmundsson (born 30 October 1958) is an Icelandic former professional basketball player and coach from Reykjavík.
- He was the first Icelander ever to play in National Basketball Association (NBA) and was a member of the Icelandic national basketball team from 1978 to 1992.
- Standing 2.18 m (7'2") and weighing 118 kg (260 lb), Pétur played the center position.
