About Kariman Abuljadayel
- Kariman Abuljadayel (born 11 May 1994) is a Saudi Arabian sprinter.
- She competed in the women's 100 metres event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
- She was the first woman from Saudi Arabia to compete in the event.
- She was eliminated from the Olympics after finishing seventh in a preliminary heat in 14.61 seconds.She wore a full black body suit as required by Saudi Arabian culture.
- She followed Sarah Attar who had also competed for Saudi in 2012.
- Her country had been threatened with an Olympic ban if they did not include woman athletes.
- Nevertheless, her achievement was not widely reported in her home country and the one newspaper who mentioned her was criticised.
