- Pavan Bhimavarapu, better known by his pen name Arun Bhimavarapu is an Indian author.
- Arun has penned three novels After that Day, I never saw her again, My Nightingale and Sambhavami.
- Being a Bachelor of Engineering from Andhra University, SRKR engg.
- college, Arun had worked under Tata Consultancy as Systems Engineer for about three years.
- He learned about cinema and screenwriting through online seminars and diplomas during this time.
- And once he got his calling, he resigned his well paying job, determined to write for rest of his life. During the early days it had been very difficult for him to manage his daily needs.
- But he had his determination all along.
- He worked odd jobs, like sales person in supermarkets, mechanic shops, delivery boy at FlipKart etc.
- But all through, he never stopped to write.
- He was done with the first version of his manuscript of his first book when he was a delivery boy, which he got corrected and published with the money he saved without eating.
- To meet the budget he even sold his Titan sports version watch which he bought for himself when he got his first salary in TCS.
- Thus begun his career as a novelist. After that he never looked back.
- Studios which ones rejected him came back asking for screenplays.
- But he remained loyal to what fed him.
- He continued with his novels, releasing two more unique pieces in the next two years.
- My Nightingale was conceived by reading the confidential documents on Subhash Chandra Bose that were declassified by Modi government.
- It went on to be a huge hit and was soon gonna be a feature film from Telugu Film Industry.
- And Sambhavami is one of its kind, with the plot being placed entirely in the outer space and happens in just 24 hours.
- It talks about how much more we humans are gonna wreck this planet if we didn't stop now and turn back.
- He also was a part of short films in YouTube of the title KOTHA PELLI KUTHURU which is a web series.
- Currently, he is working on web series on Netflix.
