Hugh Theodore Bronson (born 12 March 1961) is a German/British politician who has been an Alternative for Germany (AfD) Member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin since 2016.He was educated at Europaschule Gymnasium Westerstede, the Technical University of Berlin (BA; PGCE) and the University of East Anglia (MA; PhD, 2001). In September 2007 he was naturalised in the United Kingdom and abandoned his original German name "Uwe Brunßen".
