- Syed Mushtaq Ali pronunciation (17 December 1914 – 18 June 2005) was an Indian cricketer, a right-handed opening batsman who holds the distinction of scoring the first overseas Test century by an Indian player when he scored 112 against England at Old Trafford in 1936.
- He batted right-handed but was a slow left arm orthodox spin bowler.
