Ramesh Kumar is a six-term member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Srinivaspur assembly constituency in Kolar district.
- In June 2016, Ramesh Kumar was inducted into the Siddaramaiah led government of Karnataka as a cabinet minister.
