Ann Elizabeth Nelson (April 29, 1958 – August 4, 2019) was a particle physicist.
She was a professor of physics at the University of Washington.
She was a member of the university's Particle Theory Group from 1994 until her death.
Nelson received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2004, and was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2011 and the National Academy of Sciences in 2012.
