Chaudhary Tayyab Hussain was born in Gurgaon on 7th September 1936.
A career politician with deep ties to Indian National Congress, he was a prominent political figure in Indian Politics, He was elected to the Punjab Legislative Assembly in 1962 and became the youngest Minister at the age of 26 years in Sardar Partap Singh Kairon's government, which was a record at the time .
He has the rare distinction of having been the onlandea on till date in the country to have remained Minister in three states i.e.
Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
He remained a Member of the Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan Legislative Assemblies several times and became Minister in the three states mentioned above.He was a two term Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha representing the Gurgaon (Lok Sabha constituency) in 1971.

A law graduate from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh he was a multi dimensional and dynamic personality who served as the General Secretary of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association twice, and was a founder member of India Islamic Cultural Centre at New Delhi .On the sad demise of his father, Ch.

He remained President of All India Mewati Panchayat, Mewat Education Board and Governing Body, Yasin Meo Degree College till his demise.
