About Veselin Vuković

  • Veselin Vukovic (Serbian: ??????? ???????; born 19 December 1958 in Struga) is a former Yugoslav handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the Yugoslav handball team which won the gold medal.
  • He played all six matches and scored 19 goals. As a member of RK Metaloplastika he won two Champions' League titles, 1985 and 1986.
  • After his retirement he was coach of RK Metaloplastika and assistant coach of the national team at the Sydney Olympics.
  • After his Olympic experience he worked in Cyprus. Since 1 April 2010 he is the Serbia national handball team's head coach.
  • He coached national team at the 2012 European Championship, when the team won silver medal.
  • He led the Serbian national team at the 2012 Olympics where they finished ninth.
