Michael Tyrone Ellis (born 13 October 1967) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as Solicitor General for England and Wales since 2019, and has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Northampton North since 2010.
Ellis served in the May Government as Deputy Leader of the House of Commons from 2016 to 2018, as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from 2018 to 2019, and briefly as Minister of State for Transport in 2019.
In September 2019, Ellis was appointed to the Privy Council to advise Queen Elizabeth II on matters of state.
