- Boucher is the former head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL).
- He was also the head coach of SC Bern in the 2014–15 season.
- He previously coached in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
- He has coached various Canadian international teams.
