Ahn Jung-hwan (Hangul: ???; Hanja: ???; Korean pronunciation: [an.d???.?wan] or [an] [t???.?wan]; born 27 January 1976) is a South Korean former football player and television personality.
A former attacking midfielder, he made world headlines by scoring the winning golden goal for South Korea against Italy in the 2002 FIFA World Cup second round, and earning him dismissal from the Italian club A.C.
Perugia.
He also played for clubs in Japan, France, Germany and China, as well as being selected for South Korea in two more World Cups, in 2006 and 2010.
After his retirement as a football player, he became a television show host and a football commentator.
