- Jaromír Šimr (known in Netherlands as Jarda Šimr, born 31 January 1979 in Plzen) is a Czech footballer. Šimr played for Excelsior Rotterdam and NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch Eredivisie as well as Amica Wronki in the Polish Ekstraklasa.Šimr made his debut for Excelsior on 14 August 1999 in the match against Go Ahead Eagles.
