At the local level (in Tunisia) Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis; Deputy Minister: Social, Women and Family Affairs 1989 à 1993 under CEO Family and Population National Board since 1994. President of the Commission for the Equality of Opportunities and Law Enforcement 1997 - 2000; First president and member of Women and Family High Council; Secretary General of the Population High Council.At the international level Founding member and honorary President of Board of Directors of Population and Development South-South Partnership; Member of Enda-Inter-Arab, micro-finances NGO benefiting women microcrédit; Expert with UN Development Program et and the Consultative Council of WHO.
