About Sven-Roald Nystø
- Sven-Roald Nystø (born 30 September 1956) is a Lule Sami politician from Storå in Tysfjord. Nystø was the president of the Norwegian Sami Parliament for two terms, from 1997 to 2005, representing the Norwegian Sámi Association.
- Before he became president of the Sami Parliament, he was Vice-President under Ole Henrik Magga.
- He was also on the Sami Law Committee and was head of the Native Committee in the Barents Cooperative. He received his master's degree from the University of Tromsø.
