Scot Coogan is an American musician known for his accomplished drumming and vocal skills, working as both a session and touring musician.
Scot resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he records, performs and works as a counselor at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp.
Scot is also related to Jackie Coogan who is responsible for the Coogan Act that was put into place in 1939.
The original Bill was passed in 1939 by the State of California in response to the plight of Jackie Coogan, who earned millions of dollars as a successful child actor only to discover, upon reaching adulthood, that his parents had spent almost all of his money.
Since then, it has been revised a few times, most recently on January 1, 2004.[1] As it stands, money earned and accumulated under a contract under the code remains the sole legal property of the minor child.
