About Roman Butenko
- Roman Butenko (30 March 1980 – 30 November 2012) was a Ukrainian professional football midfielder who played for Metalist in the Ukrainian Premier League.
- Butenko began his career in Polissya Zhytomyr in the Ukrainian First League.
- In January 2008, Butenko moved to Metalist Reserves team and was promoted by Myron Markevych to the senior team in the beginning of the 2008-09 season.
