Allie Thunstrom (born April 20, 1988) has been a member of the United States national women's ice hockey team.
She won a silver medal at the 2010 Four Nations Cup contest in St.
John's, Newfoundland.
She also plays for the Minnesota Whitecaps, a professional women's ice hockey team in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) and was previously in the Western Women's Hockey League and then operated independent of a league.
In 2012, Thunstrom switched from hockey to speedskating in order to pursue her Olympic dreams.
After competing in the 2014 Olympic Trials and missing out on the team.
She also plays bandy, a sport almost exclusively played in Minnesota within the United States.
