Anne Bright Holton (born February 1, 1958) is an American lawyer and judge who served as the Secretary of Education for the Commonwealth of Virginia from 2014 to 2016.
On August 1, 2019, she assumed the role of interim president of George Mason University. She is the wife of United States Senator and former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, who was the vice-presidential running mate of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 U.S.
presidential election.
Holton served as First Lady of Virginia from 2006 to 2010.
