About Anton Lindner
- Anton Lindner (12 April 1917 – 17 February 1994) was a Luftwaffe ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II.
- The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
- Anton Lindner joined the postwar Luftwaffe in 1956 and retired in 1972 as an Oberstleutnant.
- During his career he was credited with 73 aerial victories, 1 on the Western Front and 72 on the Eastern Front.
